I’m here to say that the Kennedy-Glazer SuperConference was great. I enjoyed every minute of it. From 7:30 am till 9 pm Dan, Bill and crew were incredible. For three solid days they rocked it out. Jamming and cramming information into our little entrepreneurial brains. There we were, in the audience, absorbing as fast as we could.
Domination is Key
The energy was electrifying as experts, one after another, dominated the stage. The crowd was jazzed as the passion flowed from the platform. Each speaker concentrated on a specific area of business, whether direct response marketing, copy writing, or driving traffic, we couldn’t take notes fast enough. The sessions built, sequentially, as the audience scribbled. For me it ended up being 70 pages of handwritten notes, not counting my Blueprint Session workbook. That’s a significant amount of information. Now let’s see what I have to do to utilize all that advice.
So what do I have to share with you from the SuperConference. Well off the top of my head, here are some of the strategies that I came away with and a bit about the person who shared them. I’ll kick it off with…
Mr. Dan Kennedy…
I happen to love Dan. I love people who are real. I love the fact that he doesn’t really care if you are there or not. He’s very demanding and does business his way. He lives life on his terms and firmly believes that’s as it should be. Time is everything to him and everyone knows that. No one was late, no speaker goes overtime and everyone plays by Dan’s rules.
Messages from Dan:
You SHOULD call the shots in your business and your life. Set it up so it works for you!
Don’t deal with people who aren’t going to do business on your terms.
Control your time, PERIOD!!!
Present yourself as if you are about to meet a customer who’s going to give you a million bucks.
Understand why you are where you are. Don’t show up confused, lacking preparation or late.
Your main goal should be to move from generalist to specialist.
If you ever have a chance to see Dan live, don’t miss it. He’s comedy, mixed withbrilliant marketing strategies, wrapped in unusual duds and peppered with a liberal dose of arrogance. He’s fair, honest and very much a character. Of all the suggestions that he made throughout the three days the one that was my favorite is to take action. Dan says that hearing all his advice and listening to everyone’s information is a complete waste unless you are Action Orientated. Action is what counts.
Swift & Severe ACTION
So what action are you going to commit to doing? Make a decision, right this very moment, to take some type of action. Dan says, “It doesn’t make any difference whether the direction you are moving in is right or wrong, take action now and determine the direct later.” Taking action is the difficult part.
I know YOU want to know more…
If you have some questions that you’d like to have answered, please contact me. I love questions almost as much as I love Dan Kennedy. Or if you need help taking action, setting direction or perfecting a winning strategy, give me a call. Don’t be shy…
I’d love to hear from you!
