You might not like what I have to say here but I’m going to say it anyway. If you haven’t had the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) done for your site, you’re just shooting in the dark. Yes, I know it’s expensive. I also know that it’s a nightmare to try to do on your own. I also know that even when you have it done it takes awhile to figure it out. I know all that but I also know that without the SEO you NOT getting the results that you want from your site. I know it, because it’s impossible to do so.
Success through SEO
Since I’ve had my SEO done, my blog traffic increase by three times on bad days and five times on good days. Same exact blog, different terms. Small changes – big results.
So let me talk a bit about Russell Brunson. (I’d send you to his site but there are so many out there, with tons of information, I believe you need to be looking for a specific thing and just Google him.) He is one of those internet marketing geniuses. His company has revenues that exceed, are you ready for this, $250,000 per week. Russell hosted four sessions and gave a books worth of info. He was incredible and I loved what he taught us. As those of you who know me know I am not a technical person, however since I have been working with Robert Dempsey I could really benefit from Russell’s presentation.
Overwhelming to be sure!
For those of you reading this, I know it’s overwhelming to try keeping up with all this information. It seems like a full time job in itself but I want you to know that with everything you learn, you’re building a foundation. You take a bit of info in, then learn some more, attend a seminar, and read a bit and there you are with a foundation. Don’t get discouraged, just keep soaking up info and you’ll get there.
Anyway, here is what Russell Brunson had to say….
Use your website to position and establish yourself as the expert in your field. Concentrate on providing information to your audience that is valuable for them to have.
Blog consistently, minimum three times weekly. Consistency is key.
Figure out ways to get people to comment on your blog. Offer them free reports, contests with prizes, invitations to events, admission to teleseminars or webinars, whatever you can as a reward when they comment.
Get and keep the conversation going. Think of your blog as a place a community meets to learn, grow and share.
There’s much more I want to say and will get to it tomorrow. I’ll be posting a blog with some in depth info on SEO. I realize that to do it justice, it needs a full blog post with resources for you check out. In the meantime think about what I have written here and how you can incorporate it into your business.
Please contact me with any comments you might have. I’d love to hear from you.
