TRUST IS A BIG THING – AM I THE ONLY ONE SICK OF THE BS?
November 15, 2011
I’ve just got to say it, all around us institutions are abusing our trust. We’ve been raised to respect authority and everywhere I turn those in positions of authority have breached our trust. Our entire way of life is eroding at it’s very core. The essence of our troubles are greed, dishonesty and power.
The greedy “1 percent” are making it next to impossible for the rest of us to survive. Only concerned with making astronomical sums of money people are being foreclosed on at the speed to light. As of 2008, 1.6 million people had lost their homes, in 2009 a record 2.82 million homes went into foreclosure and they say 3 million more are without homes in 2010. We’ll have to wait and see what happens for 2011. Honestly, I can’t verify these stats but I have seen the little blue signs in every neighborhood I’ve been in lately.
I know some of these people have been over extended and have been careless with their money. However, I don’t think it’s been all that many. We have a problem here that seems to be close to epidemic. Something really has to be done and I’m not sure what it is but I know blaming millions of people who are now in the street isn’t gong to cut it.
I’m not sure about you, but I’m a bit over the lies. People are lying for the cameras and filling every news outlet possible with BS. The most amazing thing about it is that, they’re not the least bit convincing. Does ANYONE believe them?
They say, “That never happened!” Shortly followed by, “Hum, I don’t recall that happening.” Followed by, “I’m not really sure that it didn’t happen.” Next is, “Oh, I now remember that it did happen but I wasn’t like that.” And finally, “Yes, it happened. I’m so sorry, I realize now that it was an error in judgement. I hope you’ll forgive me and support me anyway…” Yea, right…
I’m sick of the liars, perverts, rapists, thieves, and politicians will short memories. I’m amazed that they can’t remember how they got what they wanted or the people that suffered at their hands. As for me, “I’m sorry,” just isn’t cutting it!
Many people in the US aren’t voting FOR a candidate on election day, they’re really voting AGAINST one. Looking for the lesser of two evils, the choose the one they feel will do the least damage. Sad but true!
Why is the need for power so strong? Why do people crave it to such an extent that they will do anything to get it? They sell their soul for something so transparent. The sad thing is once they get it, they just want more. The reality is that it’s a worthless illusion and doesn’t really exist.
TIMES ARE CHANGING.
I’ve been saying that change is coming for a few years now. I see it all around me and if you look closely, you’ll see it as well. Don’t be surprised when the strangest things unfold before your eyes.
My advice is to keep nimble, ready to move at a moments notice. It’s a good idea to stay ahead of the curve. Pay attention to your business and those you love. Nothing is as important as your faith in yourself and your family.
