Motivated to make a difference when a friend’s mom contacted cancer, Alanna Wall‘s first idea wasn’t Polish Girlz. The initial idea was to make beautiful scarves and give them to girls with illnesses. While a great idea, her mom saw some challenges that she felt might be a bit much for Alanna to overcome.
Rather than give up, ten year old Alana came up with Polish Girlz. That was two years ago and Alanna is going strong. After a Disneyspot and most recently an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Alanna has become quite the little celebrity.
Even with school, TV and radio spots this 12-year-old finds time to be CEO of Polish Girlz – a non-profit group that polishes nails for girls who have special needs or are in the hospital. Tune in to hear how Alanna has figured out how to have it all.
